The Parque de Atracciones (Attractions Park ) of Montjuïc was inaugurated in 1966 and functioned till 1998. It was a family attraction park, which apart from the classic rides, like dodgem cars and ghost train; it became the park with the biggest rollercoaster in Spain.
During summer live musical acts were put on, where Bertín Osborne, El Fary, Hombres G, Isabel Pantoja,
Joan Manuel Serrat, José Luis Moreno,
Lola Flores, Manolo Escobar, Raphael, Rocío Dúrcal, Sara Montiel performed, to name but a few.
Currently this space is occupied by the Jardines Joan Brossa (Joan Brossa Gardens), conserving the attractions, the sculptures dedicated to
Carmen Amaya, Charlie Rivel, Charlie Chaplin and Joaquín Blume.
