The Premio Antonio Asensio de Periodismo (Antonio Asenio Journalism Prize) is an award symbolising the memory of the founder Group Zeta, Antonio Asensio Pizarro, to acknowledge and pay homage to the people and institutions that have made outstanding acts in the communication field, for their journalist work or for their compromise in the defense of freedom of expression.

The bronze statuette that is received is the work of the Basque sculptor Agustín Ibarrola and represents a figure with its arms lifted where a dove is found, representing freedom and independence, which concentrates the philosophy of the prize.
